Editor's take

The sequel to FF XIII, trading the corridor for an episodic time-travel structure, and Serah's personal arc is more complete than the original's. The paradigm combat flows better here. The caveats: a high lore wall that loses newcomers, and a fragmented pace. For players who finished XIII and want more; newcomers should start at XIII or X.
